Hi, I'm Sharon Chinen.

I truly believe in the great potential of all children.  I use the latest, cutting-edge therapies based in neuro-science to help kids with learning and developmental delays to achieve improvements in cognitive abilities and overall development.

But what I'm really passionate about is getting the word out there, because I think that even in this day of modern neuro-science, so many people still do not even know what's really possible for themselves or their children. 

I have been working with children and adults now for many years. When it comes to learning issues and developmental delays I stand-by the improvements that can be achieved using the Tomatis Method of Brain Training together with Reflex Integration.

I know that many parents lay awake at night thinking about their child's struggles and worried about how their child's life will unfold.  That is why I have put together a home program that is easy to follow and has the best chance at bringing about the kind's of improvements you hope to see. 

I am committed to helping children be the best that they can be.  I keep up to date with the latest findings in neuroscience and have taken on board the latest therapies thoroughly grounded in the principles of neuro-plasticity.  

Helping a child grow and improve their brain for greater abilities takes time.  Having worked with children over many years now, I have found the best way to support child learning and development is through supporting parents to get on-board with a committed home-program.  It takes time and consistent daily input to bring about the changes you want for your child.

Training and Qualifications
Sharon has a Post Graduate Degree in Counselling from Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia. She also trained in Counselling, Psychotherapy, Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnosis and bodywork therapies at Osho International, Pune, India.  Sharon is a Reiki Master trained in Tokyo, Japan.  Sharon is a Level 1 Tomatis Practitioner, trained in Sydney, Australia. 

When it comes to Reflex Integration Sharon uses the Reflex Integration exercises taught by Sally Goddard, Peter Blythe and Harald Blomberg.  She also uses the QRI Method developed by Bonnie Brandes.
