By working directly with the nervous system, this therapy using sound through the ears, sets the stage for  the growth and strengthening of neural pathways and networks.

How Does A Tomatis Home Program Work?

When you decide to go ahead with a Tomatis Program, you come in for a full and thorough assessment of your child. During this session with you and your child, I choose the appropriate Tomatis Brain Training program for your child, teach you how to use the device and administer the program.  You will take the device home and do the program in the comfort of your own home. 

The Tomatis ® Method of therapy is a wonderful therapy that works on the muscles of the inner-ear and the brain.

Because of its ability to re-train the brain to function in a more organized way it has far reaching therapeutic benefits for a broad variety of mind and body conditions.

This method of therapy was first devised by Dr. Tomatis back in the 1950’s. Dr. Tomatis lived until 2001 so he spent 50 years of his life refining and improving his therapy. What we have today is the culmination of his dedication, genius, experience and knowledge.

While the Tomatis ® Method of therapy has been used extensively in Europe and the Americas for all of those years it is only relatively recently that we have come to use it here in Australia.
